Polarisers

Polariser is an important optical component that is widely used in Polarising optics to produce the state of linear Polarisation. sp3 plus provide following Polarisers with three materials,a-BBO, Calcite and YVO4 to suit for widest spectrum and high Polarisation purity application.

Properties and Application
a - BBO
(190-3500)
Calcite
(350-2300)
YVO4
(450-5000)
Air-spaced

Cutting angle close to Brewster's Angle.

The extraordinary ray passes through with little deviation.

Sealed mount without escape windows is suit
-able for low to medium power application where the rejected beam is not required.

a - BBO
(190-3500)
Calcite
(350-2300)

Cutting angle close to Brewster's Angle.

Mounted with escape windows. Therefor, it is suitable for high power applications.

YVO4
(450-5000)
Cemented.

Suitable for low power applications.

Special design for the ratio of L/A (length
/aperture) guarantees the wide acceptance angle.

YVO4
(450-5000)

Cemented.

Both ordinary and extraordinary beams are deviated.

Special design for the ratio of L/A (length
/aperture) guarantees the wide acceptance angle.

a - BBO
(190-3500)
Made by a-BBO material guaranteeing a wide transmission range, especially, suitable for
UV applications.

Split the ordianry and extraordinary ray, but only extraordinary beam is deviated.
