Optical Design

We have powerful optical design software which enable us to optimise your custom requirements. Some of the main functions of this software include:
Waveplate Design
Geometric aberration calculations,
Automatic correction with 'adaptive method' and 'damped least squares' methodology,
OTF calculation with 'autocorrelation' and 'DFT' methodology,
Tolerance calculations.

We stock thousands of radius test pieces for lenses in stock. Our customers will benefit from our large tools inventories because they do not need to pay additional tooling charges, Our large tool stock means we can provide quicker deliveries due to saving time in the fabrication of tools.

Prisms

We can fabricate high precision Penta Prisms (up to 1" at 90° deviation) and Beamsplitter Penta Prisms, Schmidt Prisms, Penta Roof-Angle Prisms, Polygonal Prisms, Porro Prisms, Pechen Prisms, Amici-Dove Prisms, Coupling Prisms, Hollow Retroreflectors,.....are also available ....


Polarising Optics

We specialise in developing, growing and fabricating birefringent crystals, such as YVO4, a-BBO, LiNbO3, MgF2 and Quartz crystals. Many Polarising optical components have been developed based on our birefringent crystals, which include Glan Laser Polarising Prisms, Rochon Polarising Prisms, Polarising Beamsplitters, new Phase Retardation Plates, Achromatic Fresnel Rhomb Retarders, Birefringent Filters and Birefringent Wedges, etc.


Waveplates

With the experience on orientating and fabricating high quality nonlinear optical crystals, we ensure that the orientation of the crystalline axis is precisely maintained from first cut through to final assembly. We have a computerised system to produce large quantities of low-order and zero-order waveplates per month.

With the combination of advanced coating machines and many experienced coating engineers as well as the latest design techniques, our coating department is able to do a wide range of coatings. Inspection Instruments

Our quality control and assurance department sets a series of complete standards for the optical components. Every product is strictly inspected to meet our standards or the specifications required by customers before despatch. Inspection reports and pictures are available upon request.
