High Reflectivity Dielectric Coatings (DHR)

Dielectric and Metallic Mirror Coatings

Dielectric Coatings (DHR type)

Multilayer Dielectric coatings can reach up to 99.8% reflection and are generally used for single wavelengths between 250nm and 2200nm. An example of a 1064nm coating is shown below.

l R0>99.8%@1064nm
l R0>99.5%@1064nm
(RS>99.9%,
RP<99.2%)

Metallic High Reflective Coatings (MHR type)

We provide metallic high reflective coatings using Au, Ag, and Al. These coatings are applied to where a consistent high reflection in a wide spectral range is necessary. Their reflectivity are lower than dielectric DHR coatings, but can cover a wider spectral range. In order to prevent these metallic coatings from oxidation, these coatings are protected by a layer of dielectric material.

l Ravg>95%@450~12000nm
(Protected -Silver)

lRavg>98%@2000~12000nm
(Protected -Gold)
l Ravg>87%@400~1200nm
(Protected -Al)
l Ravg>Ravg>93%@400~1200nm
(Enhanced -Al)

Note: R avg is average reflectivity from wavelength 400 to 1200nm.
